So I was watching a documentary today and learned something I was either unaware of or had forgotten.
In 2008, Joe Biden was one of the first candidates for President to drop out of the race as he received less than 1% of the vote in the Iowa Caucuses. He then went on the become President Obama's pick for Vice President.
Sound familiar?
In 2020, Kamala Harris was the first to drop out of the Presidential race polling less than 1% heading into the Iowa Caucuses. She of course is now Joe Biden's Vice President.
So does this mean that the Vice Presidency is the Democrats political form of welfare? Just asking for a friend.
