Are you into politics or not? Do you pay attention only at election time or are you a keyboard warrior all the time?
Politics can be ugly at times. I always like to say Politics is a 2 part word: Poli which is Latin for "many", and Tics which are "blood-sucking creatures." I think we should always be informed on what's going on. It may seem like a waste of time at times, but when we grow apathetic is when things we don't agree with sneak into place.
Burke once said: “The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is that good men should do nothing.”
Remember also that the squeaky wheel gets the grease. Too often we think "They will never get THAT passed." But while we are not paying attention, those that want to get THAT passed are constantly beating their drum. If your representatives don't hear from anyone but them, guess what's going to happen.
